2 Days Lake Nakuru Flamingo Safari

Lake Nakuru packs more into a compact rift-valley park than anywhere else in Kenya. On a good year the alkaline shallows blush pink with tens of thousands of flamingos; in any year the park remains one of the country's most reliable places to see both black and white rhino, along with Rothschild's giraffe, lion, leopard and enormous troops of baboon along the yellow-barked acacia forest. This two-day safari gives you an afternoon and a full morning of game drives, the baboon cliff viewpoint over the lake, and comfortable lodge accommodation inside the park — an ideal short safari on its own or a perfect add-on between Mount Kenya and the Mara.
