Day-by-Day Itinerary

Drive from Nairobi for 4 hrs to chogoria town,to the forest gate untill to the baboo forest altitude and trek for 5km s 2500m altitude to chogoria gate 2970m the ascent is much more easier with a picturesque, breathtaking with lush montane forest offering the chance to see wildlife like monkeys,bufalloes and even elephants: Accommodation at Meru mount Kenya camp

After breakfast,hike for 8km to the road head camp and 1km hike to the nithi falls,, a view to the mugi hills,giant billiards are seen to the eastern side of the mountain,and a hike to the lake ellis gives you a more experience to explore the soroudings,with this altitude you can be able to see the big peaks (batian,5199m Nelion 5188m,and point lenana 4987m) a head.From this point you will return back along the track and sign out to connect the transport back to Nairobi.
