Serengeti National Park
Home of the Great Migration and Africa's most iconic wildlife spectacle.
About Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti National Park covers 14,763 square kilometres of northern Tanzania and is synonymous with the Great Migration -- the annual movement of over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle across the plains. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Serengeti hosts the highest concentration of large mammals on Earth, including all of the Big Five. The park's endless golden grasslands, acacia-dotted savannahs, and kopje rock formations create one of Africa's most iconic landscapes.
