Day-by-Day Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 08:00 and drive to a Maasai village in the Mara region (approx. 5 hours). Arrive and be welcomed by the community with singing and dancing. Settle into your manyatta (traditional homestead) and join in a beading workshop. Dinner is prepared by the women of the village. Overnight in a manyatta.

Maasai Manyatta (homestay)

Lunch, Dinner

Spend the day learning Maasai traditions. Join the warriors for a morning of spear throwing and jumping competitions. Help the women with milking goats and collecting firewood. Participate in a traditional dance rehearsal. Lunch and dinner with the family. Evening storytelling by the fire.

Maasai Manyatta (homestay)

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After a final breakfast with the family, we say our goodbyes and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon.
