Mountkenya Kit List you should Carry with you

-In order for you to have a successful climb in mountkenya you need to keep your body dry and protected from the sun or rain in comfortable weather conditions that you will find your self in. Proper kit list contributes to the success of your climb, for enjoyment, comfort and safety of your trip. Bring the following items for your climb,the average weight of the porters is maximum 10 kgs of your personal gear,the items should be able to fit in an average of -10 degrees and an average of +15 degree -Hiking boots (Waterproof with a good grip) - Warm socks (4 pairs) -Light socks -Tights -Tops (Light &Warm) -Warm jacket -Warm trouser -Warm hat/balaclava -Normal hat (For sunny days) -Sunscreen. -Sunglasses -Torch -Water bottle -Hot water bottle/flask -Gloves (Warm) -Day pack -Porter's bag ( big bag to be carried by the porters) -High energy snacks -Walking sticks (optional -Crocs/light shoes to wear in the evening -Water proof jacket and trouser -Sleeping bag (Suitable for low temperature) -Tents will be provided by the agency NB: provide us with yours if you have one. -Sleeping pads
