Overview
when climbing Batian peak you need a serious organization and training,in order to summit,There are 2 routes to reach the batian peak
1. The North Face Standard Route which is the most direct line to batian
-Best Season: July to September / early October. During these months, the sun is slightly to the north, leaving this face mostly clear of ice and snow.
-10 to 12 hour summit back
2. The South Face via the Gate of the Mists
-An authentic, highly challenging alpine traverse that tackles the mountain's second-highest peak first
-The Traverse: From Nelion, you must drop down and cross the Gate of the Mists, a narrow, heavily exposed couloir that is frequently choked with snow and ice, necessitating crampons and ice axes. After crossing, a final 2 to 3 pitches lead to Batian's summit.

Meet in Nairobi and drive to chogoria for lunch and meeting the support crew and then off to chogoria gate for the paper entry work,the trek of the day inside chogoria forest for 7 km until the bandas camp for overnight

Early wake up call from 4:00 to 5:00am for rock climbing expedition to climb Batian peak with the headlights on,1st pitches before the sunsrise while enjoying a break at the amphitheater,continue to batian with the most amazing breathtaking views at the top.after conquring the summit descend down via the shiptons route hopefully hitting Shipton's Camp before evening dusk for dinner and overnight.
