A 3-day traverse up the Chogoria Route and down the Sirimon Route on Mount Kenya is a highly aggressive, fast-paced itinerary meant strictly for fit, experienced, and pre-acclimatized trekkers. This combination is incredibly scenic, taking you past the dramatic Gorges Valley, beautiful tarns like Lake Ellis, and the vertical cliffs of The Temple before dropping down the dry, steady Mackinder's Valley

leave Nairobi very early in the morning and ,with lunch at chogoria town,where the crew will meet and greet you at chogoria gate 2990m,then start the moorland trek from chogoria gate (this is upon when time permits or you can drive to road head camp) and pitch the tents for an overnight
