Day-by-Day Itinerary

Early morning departure from Arusha. Drive through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Highlands with a lunch stop at the crater rim. Descend into the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill gate for an afternoon game drive across the Central Seronera valley -- the park's wildlife heartland. Camp near the Seronera River.

Full day exploring the Central Serengeti's prime wildlife areas with morning and afternoon game drives. The Seronera Valley is famous for its year-round big cat populations -- lions in the kopje rocks, leopards in the sausage trees, and cheetahs on the open plains. Picnic lunch in the bush.

Drive north through the Western Corridor and Grumeti area toward the Mara River region (June-October) or follow the migration herds seasonally. Full day of game driving through changing landscapes.
