Day-by-Day Itinerary
Fly from Nairobi or Mombasa to Lamu (Manda Airport). Boat transfer to Shela. Check-in at your boutique guesthouse. Afternoon walking tour of Shela and Lamu Old Town. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Morning at leisure on Shela beach. After lunch, join a Swahili cooking class to learn traditional dishes. In the late afternoon, a dhow cruise with sundowners and snacks. Overnight at guesthouse.

Take a boat to the nearby village of Matondoni to see dhow building. Visit the ruins of Takwa on Manda Island (optional). Afternoon return to Lamu. Free evening.
