Overview

The Lemosho Route is widely regarded as Kilimanjaro's most scenic and best-balanced climbing route, offering an 8-day itinerary that maximises acclimatization and delivers summit success rates of 90-95%. Starting from the remote western Londorossi Gate, the route passes through pristine rainforest, across the vast Shira Plateau, past Lava Tower, over the Barranco Wall, and through alpine desert to the summit.
