The batian climbing can be done in Northern route which is in the northern hemisphere june-august to september.
while the nelion climb can be climbed during december to march season and this is in the southern hemisphere,where it is possible to summit Nelion on the south-east face and Batian via the Gates of Mist$cost$1050
The trek takes 12-14 hrs to complete to the base after a successful summit,in order for you to complete the climb you need better acclimatisation and fitness,more over disadvantages such as the mist,fog,snow cold rocks and rain may be experienced.weight of the bags and route finding issues
The rainy seasons in Kenya are usually April, May

Day 1-Nairobi to meru mountkenya bandas camp (approx:4 hrs 10km)
Day 2-Meru mtkenya bandas camp to lake ellis camp :(8kms 4 hrs aprox 430m elevation)
Day 3-lake ellis camp-mintos camp 9km 7 hrs 800m elevation
Day 4-mintos camp to point lemountkenya glaciersnana -shiptons camp (3.5 km 780m elevation 3.5 hrs)
Day 5-climbing day batian peak to shiptons camp (if weather allows)
Day 6-spare day or climb on the 6th day if 5 th day weather does not allow.
Day 7-trekking down tfrom shiptons to olmoses camp (13km 900m.7hrs)
Day 8-trek from oldmoses to sirimon gate to Nairobi. (650m 9km 3 hrs)
