Day 1:drive to the north east of the equator,which is 150km from nairobi,mountkenya closest town is Nanyuki,and karatina town where the,the neighbouring community grows tea and coffee.
after arriving at the sirimon gate check in and begin the hike for 3 hours and 9km slowly as you view the beautiful mountkenya sirimon forest with bamboo,heather zones and rock wood.the wildlife found in mountkenya sirimon route are, elephant,bufalloes,birds,water bucks and giraffes,
in about 3 hours you will be ablee to arrive at the 1st camp of mtkenya (oldmoses)sirimon route 3320m.you may decide to walk around in the evening and see the sorounding peaks or relax in the camp.dinner at the camp .( B L D)
Day 2:oldmoses camp 3320m to 3700m (mackinders valley rock junction) early in the morning after breakfast tests your individual fitness by hiking an average altitude of over 400.The vegetation cover in this altitude is giant groundsell and giant lobelia which forms part of equatorial forest mountain,after return back to the base of the mountain and drive back to nairobi arriving in late afternoon.
