-MAASAI MARA COSTING
An African safari costs anywhere between $125 and $250 per person per night. A budget safari averages $120-150 per night, mid-range $250 and luxury $400. The extreme top-safaris can easily go up to $1,500 per night, or more!
-HOW MANY DAYS SHOULD YOU PREFER TO VISIT
You should spend a minimum of 6 days and three nights at the Masai Mara for you to enjoy the full scope of wildlife in the park. 6 days and Three nights will allow you to have 4 game drives for the length of your stay and allow you enough time to rest when you arrive at the park.
The Masai Mara is a very safe park to visit, in our opinion.
-SAFETY OF THE MARA REGION
The developed parks and reserves in Kenya are usually considered safe and the Masai Mara is no exception. … Self-drive visitors need to take caution when driving to the park. The road is very bad, and a breakdown is not out of the question.
-BEST TIME TO VISIT
However, many visitors come for the Wildebeest Migration and the best time to visitthe Masai Mara for this famous spectacle is between July/early August and the end of November although due to varying rainfall patterns, the exact timing varies from year to year.
-THE BEST MONTHS TO VISIT THE MARA ECO SYSTEM
This is traditionally thought of as the best season to view the migration. Between July and August, the wildebeest move into Kenya’s Masai Mara, crossing the Mara River in large numbers. These river crossings are among the most sought-after moments of themigration.
