Day 1: Nairobi /Samburu

pick up from your hotel and drive to the northern side of kenya in samburu to the banks of uaso-nyiro river having passed the rich agricultural land regions of mountkenya and the north of equator from the town of Nanyuki whereby you will have lunch to proceed to the samburu reserve,a few minutes relaxing proceed for the evening game drive which will bring you to the elephant bedroom tower,the park is separated by river ewasongiro.the topography of the reserve is dry savannah region with clusters of  acacia trees,bushes,thorn trees and grasslands.the park is an elusive of leopards which are known for visiting the camps at night

Day 2: samburu game reserve

after break fast,explore the amazing park with morning and evening game drive refreshing your mind,the park is less touristic as not so many people visit there,it is home to the big 5 namely Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog as well as Pun cake Tortoise,it has over 430 species of birds,its olso a home of aquatic animals like crocodiles and tortoise.vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others.

George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness they are  known conservationists,their story was made famous by the best selling book and award-winning movie “Born Free”. Return to the camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:samburu to Olpejeta conservancy

After breakfast drive to olpejeta sanctuary to arrive at the camp for lunch, followed by afternoon game drive with the combination of amazing stunning views of the hills and mountains of mountkenya and aberdares ranges and wildlife across the open plains of OlPejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! Enjoy a game drive in the park where one could see reticulated giraffe, common, or Burchell’s, zebra, African elephant, Cape Buffalo, warthogs, Water-bucks, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Steinbok, Striped Hyena, Suni, Thomson’s Gazelle and Impala. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded including the Ostrich dinner and overnight at the camp or hotel.

Day 4: Olpejeta / Nairobi

After breakfast, have a morning game drive where you will search for shy cat (the leopard) and other plain game before returning to Nairobi. Lunch available at an extra cost.
